Bsky handle has officially changed.

I loved the pun, but I don't love hearing twitch streamers call me by the first half of it. Too close to my deadname.

I'll keep the profile pic the same for now to minimize confusion.

Have some cute pictures as penance

Much love! 💜

Everything Bernie doesn't understand about race and gender in one doubling-down, holy guac

(as a young man, Bernie published an essay fantasizing about women who dream of SA + abuse while they work for the revolution sooooo)

what if it weren't all about flattened out class interests, my man
Bernie isn't admitting he is wrong *now*.
Y'all, sometimes I can serve a damn look, that's all I'm saying
I've been needing to get my passport and just not doing it because of the bullshit they're doing. I don't know if I should just swallow the pain and get a deadnaming, misgendering passport or if I should still hold off.

I feel like my chances to even get my legal name change are slipping away

Yes, neighbor who works for ICE, I am cooking your family a meal. I cannot imagine how you could think that this would be suspicious in any way at all.

Please consume it liberally and do not share this particular portion with your family. You're the earner, so you get the big kid plate.

EAT. UP.

People used to have to put effort into faking vacations and travel for Instagram. Tech clearly wants to deprive us of even that much pleasure.

It's legit just going to end up with an app serving you so many retouched and photoshopped versions of yourself that you just get more depressed, isn't it?
For a few months, Georgia was restricted to prescription only under 65, but the Georgia health department just reversed course a few weeks ago (AFTER my whole family caught our first case from kiddo's School)
Girl!

I've been part of some good group projects, but they are few and far between, and they're always filled with chances to overload with work somebody else "just knew you could do better"

“You can win elections by tacking to the middle; lots of people have. But you can also win elections by staking a moral position and convincing people to agree with you. You can earn support by demonstrating what is important to you instead of just being determined to nod along with what you hear.”
It's all so embarrassing, but I love how the AI either didn't know or they specifically made the prompt to not put the mask over his mouth and nose
My entire trip to Seattle was an absolutely amazing time, but it was positively nonstop.

I started my visit by seeing my beloved cousin, who I don't get to see NEARLY enough, and then the Out & Equal conference was absolutely incredible.

I'm so happy to be home now, but what an amazing week 💖
I'm away on my first business trip in a 9 years and my first business conference ever.

Once I'm out of tubes, a proper selfie will be forthcoming
Pride is for celebration, and today was no different.

Not a lot of pictures to post because my company logo is visible in most of them, and I value my privacy.

This has officially become my most read self-produced piece this year. Thank you all.
I wrote a little about some of the little details you might have missed in this video and why it hit me so hard as a trans person this morning:

UNTIL IT’S DONE, Ep. 4: Sylvia Rivera

In the 1970s, queer New Yorkers had been pushed to the margins of NYC. Our trans neighbors faced immense cruelty. But in Sylvia Rivera, they found a champion.

As we combat Trump’s politics of darkness, her legacy can light the path forward.

Also, not for nothing: she’s not designed for activists. Atsu is literally designed with Erika Ishii’s face and voice. They’re fucking mad that she’s a queer person acting and not catering to their own personal boring sexual fantasy.
I had to check the original source on twitter to make sure it wasn’t a homie being sarcastic and unfortunately the OP is a 100% Trump-lovin’ anti-DEI gooner.

I’m a fucking sex worker and these guys think about jerking off more than me.
pensando muito nisso aqui
A friend at work said I gave music teacher vibes.
My kiddo said it's giving Miss Frizzle

And I'll take it. I looked damn cute today 🥰

The thing that most people don't realize is that the deportation machine was already operating at capacity. No one, ever, was just allowing millions of undocumented immigrants into the country willy-nilly. That was mythology. The process to get legal status in this country is already a very high bar
The first numbers in this blew my mind.

ICE made 100k arrests from January to June, which was double the same period last year. The shocking part to me is that it was only double, though. I certainly didn’t know they arrested so many people under Biden.
My first foray onto YouTube for @wired.com, doing a deep dive into the state of immigration enforcement and deportation under the Trump administration.

Have you ever seen Thirst?

I've got a bad handle on what's scary and what isn't, but that one has lived in my head as one of the best vampire films of all time ever since I saw it
Talked to my sister (chosen) tonight about the things we both were going through when we first met. So many tears. I love her so much, and I can't wait until we can both be in the same physical space again 💖

Ack, I forgot alt text!

Three people stand with arms around each other in front of an Atlanta Pride photo backdrop.

From left to right, a tall trans woman with long red hair wearing a dress with Pride flag prints, a shorter cis woman with dirty blond hair wearing a dark green floral print dress...
