My family sides are: roast potatoes and parsnips, sprouts, glazed chestnuts (which I now can’t be bothered to do!), pigs in blankets (used to be boiling sausage), stuffing, cranberry sauce, bread sauce & gravy. 1/2

It’s just for the two of us and we are (apparently) having a decent rolled breast and a confit leg so there’s variety. I’m moaning about nothing really but I’d far rather have capon as you say. Mind you, once all the other elements are on my plate I’ll barely notice the turkey!
