Johnson: "Grijalva should be working for her constituents right now. I don't know what she's doing. I keep seeing their political stunt videos. She should be in her office. She should be working or in the district for her constituents" (Grijalva is not in fact a Rep. b/c Johnson refuses to seat her)
Weird how most of these guys are all of the party of personal responsibility and fiscal conservatism
Politicians whose campaigns still owe large sums, according to October FEC filings:
- Newt Gingrich: $4.6 million
- Al Sharpton: $925,000
- Rick Santorum: $983,000
- Mehmet Oz: $25.5 million
- Mike Pence: $127,000

Deadbeat Political Campaigns Still Owe Creditors Millions
Old campaigns of also-ran politicians remain hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars in debt. Will they ever pay?

ICE's military raids and masked kidnappings are resonating deeply/negatively in the cultural spaces we keep hearing Dems need to reach: Manosphere, Joe Rogan, country music, disengaged voters. That's rare and it gives Dems a big opening to engage.

Thoughts on this:

Hunter S. Thompson would be in Jan Wenner's office with a 45 threatening to burn the place to the ground if you made him come into the office
2. Rolling Stone is owned by a large media conglomerate, which is ending remote work across its brands.

My home is Portland, Oregon, ~1,000 miles from the nearest office, so this marks the end of the line for me at RS.

Only in the Federalist Society academic bubble could you say that the government going in and splitting up geographically contiguous communities of Black voters in order to prevent them from ever being a majority in any House district is "government not taking race into account."

Almost every day someone tries to catch me in a gotcha by asking if I want more of my tax dollars to go towards disabled & homeless people

Yes I do

It’s often those of us who have the least who give the most

Learned that an anonymous outside expert on submersibles did an interview with the OceanGate Titan investigation, and they released a transcript, with all the names redacted. The first line of his first answer? "I'm sure you're familiar with my film Titanic."

11 Q. So how did you get yourself started into submersible
12 operations?
13
A.
Well, I'm sure you're familiar with my film Titanic.
When I
14
set down the path to make that film, the first thing that I did
15
was arrange to be introduced to the head of the submersible
16
program at the P.P. Shirshov Institute in Moscow, a guy named
17|
Professor
I. I did that through a mutual friend
18
of ours, a guy named
, who is one of the preeminent
underwater cinematographers in the world. And had been on a
20
submersible expedition out to Titanic the previous year with the
21
Russians. And that was organized by a Canadian company that was
22 doing an IMAX film which was released under the title Titanica.
Looking back, it is pretty obvious that the logo was based on food chemist, My Classic Car host, and mustache enthusiast Dennis Gage who worked on the project back in the day
No time to lose! I need to go buy some chips!

There is no version of Mad Max in any decade wearing a hat. Especially any kind of bowler hat? Fedora? And a handlebar mustache?

Why is Tesla so, so bad at this? This is not the hard part of the assignment

Gateway is the largest infrastructure project in the country, terminating funding will limit our whole nation’s potential.
SNW is really doing great things. There was no rational need for them to shoot fake bloopers and outtakes from the fake 1960s show for the holodeck episode, but they served them up anyway

While acknowledging that what Trump is doing is wrong, we should also remember to stand up for our constitutional right to not ever give a single fucking shit about John Bolton.
