When I think of nepo babies, I think of them as getting huge unfair advantages. Sure, there's inherent advantages in names, but Joe Hill and Nicolas Cage specifically did not trade on their name. While there are disgusting nepo babies out there, I agree that it is a tired and lazy label.

Man, I wish I could have joined. Aside from mobility issues, the threat to my job is too real. Which, while it would be illegal to fire me for lawful civil disobedience, there is no way I can risk it right now. Bummed to not be able to participate.

One side effect of carrying such a huge sign during this afternoon's No Kings gathering in Berkeley Springs — and being so huge myself — plus also having a double-sided sign — is that I seem to have been captured by quite a few photographers.

Caught by myself in Berkeley Springs, WV holding a sign which is four feet wide by three feet tall. Spray-painted on it using stencils in huge letters is:

KING

There's also a photo of Stephen King at the lower right and left.

My face is obscured by the sign.
