My wife and I are starting the Warrior Walk as part of the Daisy Network's effort to raise awareness about Primary/Premature Ovarian Insufficiency (POI). As part of the Warrior Walk we will be doing at least 10,000 steps a day to hit 300,000 by 09/30.

Ours is 250 with 80% purportedly with no lifetime limit but they also set maximums of “wellness benefits” and after certain dollar amount for preventative care prescriptions, you’re on the hook for it all

The Brutalist has joined the ranks of movies that I didn’t really get/like but I’ve found myself repeatedly rewatching it and growing more and more fond of it.

Same thing happened with Casino, Midsommar, Magnolia, Dressed to Kill, most Robert Altman movies

Today following outreach from @thejusticedept, Facebook removed a large group page that was being used to dox and target @ICEgov agents in Chicago.
The wave of violence against ICE has been driven by online apps and social media campaigns designed to put ICE officers at risk just for doing their jobs. The Department of Justice will continue engaging tech companies to eliminate platforms where radicals can incite imminent violence against federal law enforcement.

The man who made movie poster art, well, *an art* has passed: the great Drew Struzan.

Loved his work.

Let's not forget how he was tasked to make a poster for The Thing in hours knowing only the premise of the original 1951 film. The paint was STILL WET when he handed it in.

May he rest in peace.
