It really is rewarding to see. It was common to have toddlers in the office during a day care holiday or something or other. I was at a party one night and one of the kids was there. She ran over to her dad to say, "Dad, look! Betsy from the office is here." I still laugh if I think of it.

At my last job, there were quite a few men and women of child bearing-rearing age. Most of them took turns with their spouses taking a year off for raising the kids when they were young. The guy in charge always encouraged people to do it. It was inspiring to see.

Very pretty. Really bizarre sky tonight. One minute it was dark and then all of sudden the clouds started breaking up and the sky lit up.

I have never seen a Great Blue Heron wingspread quite like this. So fun to catch a side view of a wingspread while the bird was launching into flight.

A large blue bird, a Great Blue Heron is launching into flight from a downed branch in the marsh waters. It is really spreading it's primary flight feathers as it takes off and is leaning into flight.

A breathtakingly beautiful sunset in all shades of gold, bright orange, a few hues of a light grey with very light pinkish traces is taking place behind some old houses in a little village on the countryside on a late summer evening. On the left side some leaves of a tree are touching the sky. The clouds in the sky look like someone splish-splashed with great joy color onto the blue sky and painted some thick and thin streaks of opulence to the sky. Plain and simple a gorgeous spectacle of Mother Nature!

Maybe tomorrow. Today the wind was fortunately coming from the right direction for the rain to wash away some of the construction dust and dirt on the outside of my windows. Can't ask for more than that. 😊
