Basically all US policy is at this point about indulging Trump’s irrational obsessions, petty grudges, and corrupt grifts, and then taking secondary and tertiary measures to mask the consequences of those policies.
lol, great, so we're now subsidizing Argentine ranchers at the expense of American ranchers. Seems politically sustainable, no questions from me.

A right-wing press corps is not a press corps — it's a propaganda machine for an authoritarian president.

Grateful for the journalists who refused to bend the knee to this lawless regime. Our democracy depends on them continuing to speak truth to power.

The 2016 campaign promise that Trump was going to run the country like his businesses (bankruptcy, legally dubious construction, constant lawsuits) really came true!

They fucked up the demolition by not doing the proper due diligence and to cover that up, they are tearing it all down.

He truly is a mythical figure sent to make his voters reflect on their worst traits and decisions but none of them are smart enough to figure it out.
Now Trump is attacking American ranchers

Indeed. But let us not forget: before we even got the tan suit hysteria, there was the "locker room experience" fiasco because Obama & his staff were in shirtsleeves in the Oval.

What's "small" here is John Fetterman, a person so weak of mind and devoid of principles, so used to the lazy grift he switched to after winning office, that he won't even criticize corruption so brazen it has no parallel in American history, the President literally paying himself a fortune.
Fetterman describes Trump trying to steal $230 million from taxpayers as "small ball, and I think we have much bigger problems than worrying about those things."

34 people killed in 50 days. Their guilt or innocence unknown, for an alleged crime that doesn't carry a death sentence. That's a lot of death.

Also someone needs to explain to, not just Rappoport (who is an idiot), but a lot of other people too, that the premise of democratic socialism is not that everyone is poor but that everyone can have nice things and afford an occasional date night out

It’s amazing how our agonizingly long election cycles train at least some people to feel locked into limited options long before their options are actually that limited.
