French chefs are the most fascist elements of that country
It is so funny that the French government had to pass a law about this

My timeline: we need to support the city of Los Angeles in its time of need!

*Dodgers are against the only non-American team in the World Series*

My timeline: NOT LIKE THAT
My timeline has made it clear that things are dire in the city of Seattle
Awesome! I didn’t realize Biker Jim’s went down altogether, they were my favorite scran at DSGP. Elk cheddar sausage… 🤤
If anyone is confused about if video games are art, I suggest they check out the job descriptions
I’m at the point where I am just not willing to spend time seriously discussing whether games are art. yes. obviously. I’ve written for Pathologic 2 & 3. come back with a warrant.
Now thinking that Steve Young must be the least Tampa QB ever

I’ve read and traveled far and wide, and imho the class of people who have the best theory of mind for people in their out groups aren’t like counterinsurgency experts, or psychotherapists, but people who are experienced in interfaith dialogue and have basic religious literacy.
most people have severely degraded theory of mind for people in their outgroups and it tends to make them wrong
one of the reasons I was substantially ahead of the curve during the pandemic was that I treated China as a real place, and assumed that the Chinese government and scientists as making decisions for real reasons - not always good ones, but real ones!

The Republican Party will simultaneously claim that they are prioritizing fighting antisemitism above all else, when it allows them to crack down on higher education and foreign students, and also that the Jewish puppet master is pulling the strings behind all progressive social movements in the US.
Ernst: "I think it is extremely important that we look at who is funding these protests. We have to get to the bottom of this. It could be the usual suspect -- George Soros."
Like those are hash bricks yeah?

one of the consistently interesting things about ACA criticism since it was signed into law is how critics discount or ignore the medicaid expansion

When they say "Jesus" they mean an entity which authorizes and sacralizes their violence, an entity which they happened to name after an unrelated crucified rabbi
I simply can’t wait for the American Unexceptionalism movement
No you are not the greatest country in the world and no you are not the worst country in the world, like most countries you are just kinda mid and it is way past time to grow up and accept this

It's funny, the no kings protests could be the best chace to normalize the idea of nationwide strikes in the US, if the organizers are serious. They do maybe 2 more on weekends to really lock them into people's practice, then say, "hey, let's show them we really mean business & do it on a Wednesday"

10. If you liked any of this, support our Patreon. Local MLS coverage is struggling. We made a small profit in 2025! Would love to pay our intern & add staff with Summit starting up. Saturday aside, THE RAPIDS were great to BW this year. Courage. Keep fighting. UTFP!

More than 7 million protested. You can’t forget the millions fighting from their homes.

The entire "free speech on campus" moral panic was manufactured to blackmail us into making space in intellectual life for bigots and charlatans who couldn't get there on their own merits. Its a DEI scheme for fascism. Congratulations to everyone who took it at face value.
“Following his lecture, Yarvin will debate the legendary British historian David Starkey on history and the future of conservatism.” Everything about this is so cursed. Masks off at the University of Oxford.
I only use AI for coding when I’m truly drawing a blank and need an idea from scratch. It helps like 25% of the time lmao
(5) Perceived vs. objective performance

I can speak from experience that GenAI does not assist with my coding tasks. There's a lot of bad advice in the training datasets.

We ran a randomized controlled trial to see how much AI coding tools speed up experienced open-source developers.

The results surprised us: Developers thought they were 20% faster with AI tools, but they were actually 19% slower when they had access to AI than when they didn't.
This reminds me of the four Colorado seasons: Almost Winter, Winter, Still Winter, and Construction.
There are three seasons: summer is coming, summer, and Thanksgiving is coming
Wonder what that mega church member who yapped at me thinks about duly electing whatever this is
Trump: "I'm allowed as you know as president, like 50% of the presidents have used the Insurrection Act. Everybody agrees you're allowed to use that and there is no more court cases, there is no more anything. We're trying to do it in a nicer manner, but we can always use the Insurrection Act."
They’re all cartoon Nazis
RFK is undoing human subjects protections so he can conduct placebo trials of vaccines. That means infecting people knowingly. I wonder who will “volunteer” for these trials? If history is any guide, a lot of incarcerated and other powerless people.
Dismantling the Institutional Review Board (IRB), that oversees all human subjects research, is bad. Really bad.
