GOP accusations became more & more overambitious & far-fetched.
Conspiracy theories gained traction as fact- & source-checking gave way to quotes from anybody who said something about something.

An ICE Agent may issue a fine to legal aliens for failure to have documentation.
A "documented citizen" issued such a fine should inform the press, local & state officials, & take the Agent & Agency to court.
