rise of the machines

Fred Flentstone stands, hands on his hips, looking incredulously at Barney Rubble, who is at the corner of the panel barely visible. He appears to wearing tiny sunglasses.
"C'mon Barn, what's with the getup? and what is that on your head?" Fred asks.
"oh this, Fred?"
We now see Barney is also wearing a black trench coat and smoking a cigarette. A small bird is taped to the side of his head. "Just the latest in cybernetic enhancement technology- wired right into my brain."

The background dissolves and Barney stands next to a free floating diagram of a human body with several small birds going into it and says "we're entering a new age, Fred- the synthesis of man and machine as one flesh. This is the future. It's hack or be hacked."
Fred looks incredulous.

The bird pecks Barney.

Barney puts his hands on his head and screams "the machines are turning against us! We have built God only for him to destroy us!" as the bird continues to peck at him.

Comic from my weekly series, Chamomile. Detailed Description Follows:

Chamomile thinks to herself and says "The other pup came for "I'm so stupid" earlier, so..." Chamomile begins walking around the park, the first dog she found in tow, yelling "I'm so stupid! I'm so stupid? C'mon, I'm so stupid!" A passer-by with their dog says "Are you okay? Why are you yelling that?" Chamomile smiles and says "Oh, I'm dog-sitting two puppies and I let one of them get away when I wasn't paying attention." The passer-by says "Wow, that's terrible. You are so stupid." Chamomile looks upset and says "Oh, what a horrible thing to say! Insulting me isn't going to help the situation you know!" She defiantly turns her back on the passer-by and says "Now then." Chamomile walks off, arms raised, once again yelling "I'm so stupid! I'm so stupid! I'm soooo stupid!" as the passer-by watches in silent concern. End of comic.

While I work on it, here are the characters who will star in my #madscientistoctober run. Neta, the mad alchemist who likes to test weird stuff, and her help (occasional test-subjects) Ricardo and Vanessa. Neta is keen to do 31 forms, the other two don't know about time crunch mode, starring them.
