Against the Fall of Night inches closer to v0.6 as I have finished updating Heroes Rise, the intro adventure, to better align with the current game structuring

also I am still pleased by the taunt table I included in the original version for the villain to taunt the heroes with

[3/5] Most storytelling we do in our daily lives is of this second kind, and I'd argue that most TTRPGs – certainly nearly all "trad" RPGs – are likewise oriented toward this kind of story. The rules are *weird shit generators*, and interpreting the outputs of the rules is what *produces the story*.

I should work more on Flames of the Meta-Dragon so other people can more easily get that experience too. If you abstract and houserule things enough, every TTRPG book is all part of the same game.

I played multiple games almost immediately after my first exposure to TTRPGs. We blended them together, because it didn't occur to us to keep them separate. For a while I played a mashup of AD&D 2E, Cyberpunk 2020, and GURPS (and we would have included Alternity if we could make it fit).
