I have always been a pretty good student who reads the material ! I just kinda clocked the contradictory attitudes many had vs what they preached and that’s what turned me off organized religion in general

I think having the Tism and being raised religious is like so counter intuitive to how religious people want you to be. Where I was actually listening to the lessons of justice and charity and doing good to others , and they’re like “wait no you’re just suppose to hate poor people”

There was this shift in like 2010s where the anger about how dumb men could be or how dangerous the world was felt so chaotic and unpredictable. So there was an effort to make everything clinical and statistical. Like your bad experiences are universal AND part of a case study.
