Well this is an account I was using for different things, but instead of actually blocking a hundred folks over on my old main account I’m just going to migrate here and not deal with the headache.

Only following folks who don’t shrug at the things that make me angry.

If you give in on sports, then why should they be allowed to act in movies? Why should they be allowed to use public bathrooms? Why let them into concerts?

Some people will say “but this is about their jobs, their healthcare, their rights, their lives” and that’s valid.

But fuck that, it’s also about sports. Because the sports issue is just one smaller front of the battle that fascists are waging to erase trans people from public life.

Cool story. Sorry, people not being able to compete in sports is simply not on the scale of consideration when others in our tent are literally losing their freedom and their livelihoods.

You can pretend all you want that rational disagreement is "throwing you under the bus", but it's bullshit.

So money talks for Republicans, why doesn't the economic fallout of the SNAP funding cut off not speak to them? The implications for what should be one of the healthiest fiscal seasons of the year for many industries should scare them into action.

That the Democratic establishment is silent on this repeated racism and Islamophobia from someone who claims to be a Democrat is… well, it’s really telling.

This should be very easy to disavow for someone like Schumer, Pelosi, Jeffries, Clinton, Obama, etc. Every Dem should be vocally rejecting it.
