You want a big tent coalition?

Brother, we all do.

Step number one when setting up that tent is not driving the stakes it needs to be secured through the people you want inside of it.

The ballot rolloff in Durham, let alone Charlotte/Raleigh/Durham, in which otherwise Democratic voters left the bubble for Cheri Beasley blank, was greater than the 401 votes Newby won by.

The pre-2023 North Carolina Dems handed this race on a silver platter to the Rs. Thanks Wayne & Bobbie. #NCPol
Few people outside North Carolina have heard of Paul Newby, the chief justice of the state’s Supreme Court.

But Newby has had a huge impact on America and his state. He’s done this with the goal of delivering what he’s called “biblical justice, equal justice, for all.”

Meet the Grinch tickets (aka me as the Grinch taking over North Hills) went live this morning and we've sold half the tickets already. If you want to meet the Grinch I would sign up soon.
Somebody at the bookstore needs to say hi to Scotty Mayfield for me! He always stops by on game day in Raleigh. Not working today so I can't talk books with him.
So money talks for Republicans, why doesn't the economic fallout of the SNAP funding cut off not speak to them? The implications for what should be one of the healthiest fiscal seasons of the year for many industries should scare them into action.

The teen is beyond happy that she saw Tate McRae live tonight.I loved seeing how excited she was.
This is the energy needed. Talk about an excellent neighborhood watch.

Barefoot Chicago Blackhawks pajama pants guy telling off jackboots is feeding my soul today.
Y'all are smart. Taking the teen to Tate McRae tonight. Should we have already left to get to Lenovo during the fair for a 730 concert? I kid, but I truly didn't think about the concert taking place on the last Saturday of the fair.
Meh. One of my coworkers asked me about not supporting the Canes anymore. How sad they were for me because I've been a fan since the start. I was willing to walk from my job for a Neil Gaiman quote on the wall. I'm not losing sleep over a hockey team with shitty culture.
I want to thank the camera operator of RHOP who made sure we could see the river otter in the background. Bless you.

notice the general mood of the timeline? how everyone is in a good mood and there’s a lot less misery and dooming? how there’s a lot of “we’re going to beat these assholes”?

anyway that’s why these events are important
Hahahahahahaha! Brilliant!
The daughter is playing city volleyball. Her coach is a regular at the bookstore, teammate is my little brother's childhood best friend's daughter, and she played against a team with a player who's the kid of my boss from over 10 years ago. Sometimes Raleigh do be small.
May not be watching the Canes this year but having Ghosty Bear on my fantasy team is certainly a plus.

Ah, Fall in the city of oaks, when walking outside under the trees you run the risk of being concussed by falling acorns and the ratatat on anything metal to lull you to sleep.
Handled being at my parents' just fine until they showed me my brother's ashes. Grief, amiright?
The heathens are going out to eat tonight. Tell us where to go in Raleigh.
