I’m sorry, but yes describing a political movement led by women facing down right wing death squads and drug cartels and a neoliberal government who all want them dead as not being as effective at defeating right authoritarianism while chud Jesus rips down the White House is very “sneering” coded.

I think more of Harvard should be gutted and more of the White House should be demolished.

I’ve read and traveled far and wide, and imho the class of people who have the best theory of mind for people in their out groups aren’t like counterinsurgency experts, or psychotherapists, but people who are experienced in interfaith dialogue and have basic religious literacy.
