BREAKING 🚨
The updated EHRC Code of Practice has now been sent to the Government. The Code is just as bad as we feared.
It would mean a mandatory trans bathroom ban, and trans people's exclusion from public life. The impact would be devastating.
But politicians still have time to stop this.

Oh nothing, just the actual Prime Minister telling people they’re entirely correct to drive asylum seekers out of their communities

Keir Starmer’s new director of communications isn’t just the founder of Portland Communications – which represented Qatar, Russia and Kazakhstan – he’s also come straight from the board of the anti-trans charity Sex Matters.
The government is heading in a dark direction.

Women from all walks of life are joining together to say: Not in Our Name. We are a diverse group — women of faith and none, women of colour, disabled women, queer women, working-class and professional women standing up in support of the trans+ community.

Considering people seeking asylum living in hotels get less than a tenner per week, and those in other accommodation get less than 50 quid, this really is performative nonsense from the Home Office. People aren't buying fur coats and snowmobiles FFS. 1/

Hard agree with @davidkr.bsky.social here. Moreover shouting at them that the flags are tainted by imperialism and colonialism (heard in Bristol), while true, hardly wins over the average bystander to our side.
Lessons from an asylum hotel counter-protest: calling our opponents ‘fascist’ doesn’t work | David Renton
When anti-asylum demonstrations have so much support from the mainstream, a smarter, more tailored message is needed, says campaigner and barrister David Renton
