All is good. Have a butane burner for just such events. Boiled water in a pot and poured over coffee grounds in machine. Haven’t mastered making toast over flame however. Burnt bread on outside and soft inside.
Power back on now after 3 hours off. (For now, wind and rain picking up)

Took my sister and brother in law to his (10 minute) appointment at VON this afternoon. Spent an hour and a half waiting & pacing the Bayers Road parking lot. Instead of being frustrated I just reminded myself that I was free and able to pace the lot unlike those like my brother in law who cannot.

As much as I love cooking I also love just taking stuff out of the freezer and popping it into the air fryer. Tonight’s meal is fried chicken on a bun with fries.

Primaris REIT, which owns Halifax Shopping Centre, has submitted new development plans that encompass Halifax Transit's overcrowded Mumford terminal.

The plans call for an expanded, at-grade bus terminal rather than the underground design proposed by the mall's previous owner. (1/5)
