Again, there are only two solutions to our authoritarian problem, & Democrats cannot achieve either of them alone:
👇🎯💯 Again, as I have been yelling at the clouds for years, there are <only two solutions> here, & no one wants to talk about either one. Which is why I, & perhaps you also, remain so deeply concerned about the tenuous future of 🇺🇸 democracy.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has instructed staff to allow hunting in many of the roughly 600 National Wildlife Refuges, three employees said, as President Trump continues to direct select parts of the government to ignore the shutdown.
Trump allows hunting in National Wildlife Refuges despite shutdown
The Trump administration directed staff to open wildlife refuges to hunters even as many national parks and other government services close.

Don’t let the frogwater that’s boiling us alive let you skip over this: we murdered another country’s citizens in cold blood, and when their leader objected, we called him a drug dealer and cut off aid to his country. That’s freakish.
Petro objected to the US bombing a Columbian fishing vessel that had the emergency beacon on because they were broken down, that we subsequently bombed. One Columbian fisherman survived the attack.

This is the official US response to Petro's comments.

just to let you know, when i was on the Grand Jury for Travis County (3 months of looking at a million cases to decide whether to indict or not), i'd say an easy 80% of cases relied solely on nearby door cams for photographic evidence of crimes

Seeing, “Sure it was big, but…” posts tonight. I think for one day we can just say, “Wow, good job everybody” and leave the handwringing and second guessing for tomorrow.

Retired Army Sgt. Brian Wofford spoke to me this morning at the Oklahoma City #NoKings protest. Didn’t expect him to be carrying his DD214 so I asked some warmup questions like when he got out and whether his injury was service-related.

He paused while describing the car bomb in Iraq to say this:
Yes! I love this time of year 😍

South Koreans held their government accountable earlier this year. And now they’re protesting for American’s rights and democracy on No Kings too!

Thank you South Korea! #NoKings ❌👑

“who cares” would be a titch more credible if they hadn’t spent all week whining about the rallies in advance.
"Who cares?" says the president about a day of peaceful NO KINGS protest in approximately 2,500 cities, towns, villages all over the United States, and in many other parts of the world.
