Yeah, they're more like inland seas than what anyone thinks of as a "lake".

My family hosted some exchange students from England for a summer. I don't remember much about them except the time we all drove up to Wisconsin Dells (from Chicago) and one of them seemed deeply confused at how we managed to drive north for 4 hours without ending up in Canada.

As someone who has actually seen my mom's FBI file (up to about 1997 when they stopped tracking her) it's probably not much more involved than a phone call and a quick committee meeting about "Suitability."

The SIMILARITIES are skin deep. We have a very basic level of common ground and, for now, a mutual enemy. In Trump/ICE. But nobody here has any illusions about how far that goes and you look very silly trying to claim universal kinship with people whose names you can't even spell.

Neither is the difference between a prisoner and a guard.

We are fundamentally different KINDS of people from fundamentally different places.

It's technique. I uses to train my gymnasts to do this (helps with giants and cast handstands).

Never could do it myself. I've had maybe four or five male students who could. We're just too damn heavy.
