My kid has taken my headphones (Momentum 4) so, I will now try the famous freezer fix for my AirPods Max which I haven’t used in like 9 months and see if I can avoid having to buy additional headphones. Wish me luck!

Pre-match drinks at the usual place.
In a couple of hours to a sold-out Ullevi for Sweden vs Kosovo.
Last time I was there for a footy match, it was -9 degrees + snow, for BK Häcken vs Leverkusen in the Europa League and pretty much empty. So I’m looking forward to it.

This is very disturbing because, with the exception of the moving image of me at the beginning of my segment, the words and images are not mine. My voice is AI generated and - I assume - sounds very like me. (I can't hear the join) Disgraceful.

So was training AI the actual reason for alt-text at BlueSky? I have no objection to alt-text as a means to help people with disabilities use online media. But BlueSky's tiny alt-text entry box is not easy for people with vision impairments to use. Helping people never seemed to be the point of it.

This is becoming a big problem and artists should get paid for the illegal use of their art in training these models. And why are record companies not doing anything? Remember how quick they were to act back when Napster? Maybe they have their money on these companies as well so they don't care?

So, an AI “band” who cite us as an influence (ie, it’s modelled off our music) have just overtaken us on Spotify, in only TWO months.
It’s shocking, it’s disheartening, it’s insulting - most importantly - it’s a wake up call.
Oppose AI music, or bands like us stop existing.

For me, Liverpool have been getting a bit too much flak for their performances this season when they've been good enough in patches to beat some very good teams. But there wasn't a single redeeming feature tonight and it's a deserved defeat that gives Slot a lot to think about.
