got around to playing Ray Frank's Having Company, a quake 2 mod that I am now convinced is one of the greatest surrealist masterpieces of our time. if you like weird shit and the aesthetics of amateur fan maps, you need to try this. I can't remember the last time a game made me laugh this much.

I think I can vibe with a band doc that doesn't feature the thoughts of it's members (the film openly acknowledges that it would be a shame to explain their music's meaning), but damn it's just a series of poorly told anecdotes and an awkward fixation on that time they topped UK charts

their expansion model kind of makes filtering out the middling ones a necessity unless you've got money to burn. Ck3 has a few exceptionally good ones and the ratings do help them stand out.
