Trump on immigrants: "They send up their worst people. They send up people that are criminals. They send up people from jails. And the best ones they send are people that don't work very hard and that are on a social form of welfare."

I visited Kfar Aza in 2024 and saw Gali and Ziv Berman’s home. They have endured so much. Too much. I wish them health and peace.

Hey, VibeExcel, can you calculate what my letter grade would be if I got a 57.2% on the final exam?
Microsoft says its Agent Mode in Excel has an accuracy rate of 57.2 percent in SpreadsheetBench, a benchmark for evaluating an AI model’s ability to edit real world spreadsheets. This result places Agent Mode above Shortcut.ai, ChatGPT agent with .xlsx support, and Claude Files Opus 4.1. It’s still behind the human accuracy of 71.3 percent, though.

In another timeline, this would be pitiable because of the obvious projection.

OK -- I have extremely strong/niche views on Emily Gilmore, too. A year in a life should be re-edited to only be about Emily, because it is her story that is fully developed across the seasons. It is lovely and aching and poetic. And I have probably aged into this view, but damnit I love her.

The federal govt has supported theater since the 1930s, as a Great Depression program. Federal assistance is not a sign of frailty but is baked in to how this art is shared.

At the same time, we need to see how this theater has become prohibitively expensive.

(NB: MJ d/n need to be a musical.)
