His Majesty King Charles III has announced that he will host German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and his wife Elke Büdenbender for a State Visit from 3-5 December. It will be an incredible moment for 🇬🇧🇩🇪 relations and the first State Visit by a German President in 27 years.

Sad to hear that @pembroke1347.bsky.social Emeritus Fellow and fellow Newnham resident Prof Michael Kuczynski (1959) died at the age of 84, after a short illness. Michael and I taught together on the MPhil in International Relations at the Centre for International Studies now @campolis.bsky.social.
