The possession scene was horrifying, Elpis made me cry several times and I love fighting Zenos, so that part was also peak for me.

i'm the zenos guy so i think about this the most in relation to her, bc the story has actually set up some very believable ways to redeem her (stopping black rose, rescuing the wol from the endsinger as shinryu, summoning the teleporter) but still it's...somehow not enough. 1,000 years prison time

basically I'm saying zenos would be That Guy who sneers at pro wrestling. I don't think he'd Get It bc his own idea of enjoyment and finding thrill is absurdly warped. just cause it's about fighting doesn't mean he'd be super into it from the word go. thank u for coming to my ted talk

so many people saying zenos would like the arcadion. personally speaking i think he would think it's weak shit bc as it was before the wol came, they weren't even true fights to the death. where's the thrill if the only risk is your reputation with the audience. it's an elaborate play with no stakes

i'm always lost on timeline stuff with shards so i'm not sure but does zenos or vauthry come first? in my mind i lean towards vauthry happening first because z seems like the perfect creation that took some failed test runs to nail down 👀

from how they seem to interact i suspect that emet didn't do any personal experimentation with varis but the fact that that short story with the two of them where he's musing on his disappointment over lucius and says he's disgusted with varis's body is like. Right before zenos was born. is uhhhh

i'm always staring directly at this because i strongly believe zenos went through very likely the same thing as vauthry re: being an experiment to bring about a calamity...my friend jacob has an idea that varis could be a vauthry shard and a failed blueprint of whatever emet did to baby zenos too 👁️
