It's not a tapir because tapirs are odd-toed ungulates and were only native to the Americas and SE Asia. No one in classical antiquity would have known of them.

I'm going to say it's a lamb, not because it looks like one but because lambs very common iconography in ancient art.

if you're familiar with what tapirs are normally packing, you know that Drowzee is totally in the right spot

My main question though… why did he use tapirs for the dawn of man scenes? What was that meeting like?

For the book "Prince Caspian," in addition to the funny story, the plan is to impart knowledge about the respective animal in each episode: water buffalo, tapirs, or warthogs. Just like the "Underdog" series on Disney Plus, we want to give these wallowing animals a platform.

"…no licensed monkeys were found to be living in north Norfolk at the time - only a pair of camels and three tapirs."

Shit happens, and for we wildlife ecologists, it's also super informative! What do eastern barred bandicoots (not tapirs) eat, I hear you ask?

Well, [email protected] Honours student, Ella Loeffler has the answers!

Tapirs are so cool

I say this once every few months but tapirs really are the most blessed creatures on this planet
Ume is officially 11 months old and already weighs 483 pounds! 💗 That’s more than halfway to mom Yuna’s impressive 800 pounds. This adorable Malayan tapir is gaining size, confidence, and curiosity by the day, still keeping close to mom while steadily growing into her almost-teen tapir era.

“We do not know how many tapirs we have, they are mysterious beasts. Do not trouble us with these impertinent questions.”

I very much doubt normal citizens in Venezuela are scheming to steal US assets, or manufacture fentanyl, cocaine, etc.
(A project I helped last year -- environmental education classes for local children, about native wildlife species like tapirs)

Melatone and Ariem look nice with the other tapirs on my PC.

I did scuff on Mel, air bubbles got trapped.

Can it be both? My sona isn’t a horse, but tapirs are closely related to horses. I’m willing to share because I don’t wanna be too greedy!

Okay but Talita, you need to see elephants and tapirs and tigers and owls. She needs to go on safari!
She might actually enjoy the big open space, even if on a subconscious level.
