#spiroglyphics
Your momb can use a site called spiralbetty.com to turn pictures of you into spiroglyphics to see if she enjoys them. If she does, there are books you can buy.

I find it to be. Like meditation focuses on the breath, spiroglyphics require you to focus only on coloring in the lines, which have tiny variations, are close enough together to require your full attention, and take about 90 minutes to complete. They're a great way to build focus and to relax.

@naotoshimaeda.bsky.social been trying to find things to occupy my hands and mind. Things I can do physically. Ever heard of Spiroglyphics? It’s like a coloring book but you fill in a continuous bumpy line and an image emerges.

There are websites and apps that let you turn your real photos into spiroglyphics. My oldest brother made one for everyone in my family for Christmas, each with a memorable picture of ourselves from a newspaper clipping, scrapbook photo, group text, etc.

Thanks to @rningscissors.bsky.social for inspiring me to get a book of spiroglyphics to color, and to whoever here or on Twitter recommended Pilot Frixion erasable gel pens as the best in that class. They are the perfect writing instrument for these.

Oooooooh! That sounds both fun and incredibly challenging.

If you search “spiroglyphics” on Amazon, all kinds of books with fun themes pop up

2️⃣ Spiroglyphics

Y’all, I have posted about spiroglyphics before and had no idea this was who originally created them!

Why I like them:
- the biggest reason I like these (& dot-to-dots) is they reduce decision fatigue: I only have to pick one color and end up with something that looks pretty neat.
