That was because I was annoyed that the Geordie budgie Sparkie Williams had "Known for his repertoire of over 500 words" on his page and I didn't, even though I know loads more words than that. (I didn't realise you could request edits though, so thank you!)

In my working life I worked as a sparkie with industrial automation and it was very apparent that you could not design a system that was completely "idiot proof".

The lighting in my part of the shop is quite bad, and we don't have a ladder that can reach the ceiling to install lights like the rest of the space has (and I don't much want to hire a sparkie to run more power up there anyway.)

Over here we had cloth insulation in steel conduit or wood trunking. Everywhere it was covered by conduit is fine even today, Anything exposed like in light fittings of sockets fell to bits. Neighbours had a very snap crackle pop switchboard when the sparkie opened it up
