A #sotd fitting for the final part of the Twilight saga (ironically watched MST3K style). Dry and withering violets sitting on top of sun warmed stone. The Palo Santo became mesquite on my skin like an actively burning wood fire from the nearby crematorium. Headless burning vampire bodies.

Had a sample of Nocturnaility from
Arquiste and another winner from them, I didn't expect to like it but unlike a lot of dark "night out" frags, those floral notes harshes any abrasiveness or "loud" projection. Good performance. #scentsky #fragsky

Last for the the ink theme, I had to revisit my little sample of #sotd Courreges Le Messager. Less Ambroxan (not listed) than I noted before, but the scent bore a strong resemblance to Good Chemistry's Not That Vanilla that subs cocoa and smoky amber for dry ink. Same vibe✨😎

#sotd Solstice Scents The Mirror. Trace of sugared pine on top of a bed of soft cocooning musks of wood and passing hind. Unfortunately I find the cardamom C02 note too distracting from the story I feel the scent is trying to whisper to me.

Continuing with the ink note, #sotd YSL Muse. Robust in its grace, like the feathered quill writing truths we hold evident. A light aromatic vanilla that could go powdery but decidedly stays put as the ink sets to dry.

Buio from Meo Fusciuni is surprisingly good. When I put it on, my reaction was "wow what a grown up scent"

I travel intentionally with samples & a few staples so it forces me to try all those samples.

Probably better for night, but I like it as a daytime scent stealer.
