#primarytakeaway these chatbox can be good as long as I have the intentions to learn from it but not take from it. It is a finnicky tool to be messing with, but as long as I am aware of the limitations it can bring, I can manipulate it to be a useful tool.

I think my main takeaway is how can I away from asking AI questions about my math or science etc assignments and really asking how AI is really developed and how we can delve into the SME as an assistant not a as cheat code #primarytakeaway

#primarytakeaway I would say my primary takeaway for this in relation to SME 1 would be to really take this opportunity to experiment and get creative with prompting with AI, and to understand that it is still my ideas being involved with this, and is still my own work as well.

#primarytakeaway my primary takeaway from this video is that SME #1 and my experience with the GPT interview will depend heavily on what i feed GPT. gpt will act as a reflective mirror to the prompts

My takeaway is that LLMs are made in way to be our helpful assistant and if we don't guide it then they will respond in the way they are. This matters for SME #1 because we can change GPT’s prompt and ask what any questions its going to ask us and stuff and just like guide it yk. #primarytakeaway

Primary takeaway I got was that we have to learn how AI acts and we have to steer it in the direction the way we want it to act and we can control how it acts but without prompts it will steer off #primarytakeaway

#joeandashley #primarytakeaway Essentially, GPT will be my "helpful assistant" that I will roleplay with and create a dialogue that i can curate. If i get stuck, or end up wanting to change things, that is OK. Oh, and to experiment with diff prompts (aka have fun)

When I am doing SME 1, I should play a role and explore the way AI reacts to prompts. It’s ok to not sound like myself, almost helpful. #primarytakeaway #joeandashley

My primary takeaway is that we can manipulate LLM's to do what we want as long as we give it the proper prompt. #primarytakeaway

#primarytakeaway My primary takeaway from this video, in preparation for SME1, is that AI will guide me based on how selective with my prompt and information. AI isn't going away, so it's important to adapt to the changes and use AI to try things, as responses are endless.

My primary takeaway from this video in relationship to SME 1 is that we don't have to follow word-for-word the meta prompts. We can do the interviews in our own unique style. #primarytakeaway

One of my primary takeaways is to proceed with the idea of using it like a tool. I don't rely on AI, but I'm curious to see how far it has come from the video since it drastically evolved. #primarytakeaway

my primary takeaway is that we are really the ones who can shape our outcomes, all we have to do is tell GPT to do it. be as weird and creative as you want to be and in return, you'll create something you've never expected #joeandashley #primarytakeaway

My primary takeaway from this video is that co-creating with AI is a partnership between us and the AI--it's not really something I can type 1 or 2 prompts into and slack off. It's an active process in which I must be careful so as to not bias the AI into going the "wrong" direction #primarytakeaway

My takeaway is that LLMs are set up to act like helpful assistants and if we don’t change the prompt, they’ll just respond that way. This matters for SME #1 because we can change GPT’s prompt to our advantage and control what questions its going to ask us and stuff.

#joeandashley #primarytakeaway Main thing I got is SME 1 is about co-creating not just using AI. We play with prompts and answer based on the role it’s doing. Feels more like a game than a tool. Also feels like we might have some control over AI in this case.
February 8, 2026 at 6:04 PM
AI is only as useful as we make it. We need to prompt it properly in order to get results we want. Tell it to focus on things, not ignore things. We should fact check any answers and ensure we are not giving it free reign. It is a tool and liability, our job is to make it a tool. #primarytakeaway
February 8, 2026 at 7:38 AM
My primary takeaway is more knowledge on how the AI works and how I can prime it the best with my prompts for it to give me the most useful answer. #primarytakeaway
February 8, 2026 at 3:52 AM
i think my primary takeaway is to challenge the ai more. we're using the ai as a partner to assist us with this class and we shouldnt argue with it (because that will most likely lead to disasters). starting over is better than arguing. #primarytakeaway

#primarytakeaway AFAIK No1 is the self interview, and Joe's explanation of how genAI is influcned with prompts is really important to keep in mind when interacting with LLms; evenbeyond Sme1
February 7, 2026 at 5:41 PM
My primary takeaway is that we will co-create with AI in SME 1. We are going to play around with the prompts and answer them based on the character they are playing at that moment. #primarytakeaway

My takeaway is BALLS TO THE WALL do it MESS AROUND WITH AI, we are going to use it to co-think and co-create…if it’s anything like my besties it’s going to be the blind leading the blind #joeandashley #primarytakeaway

my main takeaway is that AI should be used to strengthen critical thinking, not weaken it. when used for brainstorming, questioning assumptions, and checking logic, it aligns with SME No. 1 by encouraging deeper engagement rather than just consumption. #primarytakeaway
February 7, 2026 at 1:04 AM
2. I also think using it for brainstorming and checking for logical consistency would also be a good idea. Instead of becoming a crutch, it would help strengthen critical thinking skills.

I've been reflecting on using various AI tools to spark creative inspiration and experiment with new ideas. Since AI isn't going away, we have to adapt to this new environment.
