One of my creative projects requires natural colors, so I snapped pics of Obispo Tuff (compressed volcanic ash) at sunset. Some years ago I invented a process to make a harmonious palette based on analogous colors. After some tweaking, the result works well. #pismobeach #graphicdesign #artprocess

I've spent most of my 6+ decades living somewhat close to saltwater and even worked in Alaska on fishing boats in my late teens. Point being, I've seen eight zillion Seagulls in my life but up until June of this year I never saw a baby and I saw lots of them! #PismoBeach #Birds #Nature #Photography

One of my favorite parts of shooting ocean sunset photos is noticing how the quality of light changes everything it touches. I caught these alternating stripes of color and shade minutes before the sun set below a clear horizon. #getoutside #sunsetphotography #pismobeach
