Like, I'd understand this if the game was still free to play. But not only is it a full paid game, but the monitization is more aggressive than F2P games. They wanted to be like Raceroom, failed at that, then tried to be like CS, failed at that, and now they're just nothing. Utter disappointment.

But at least to it's the only platform known to announce that they will not bring AI into this as to monitization i hope they find a way to make money too!!

Might be the first Sonic game I've played that I'm refusing to stream and it's 100% because of its monitization.

Sonic Rumble is fun but I do kinda agree the monitization of it is a little silly
I don't think even a live service should have 3 different battle passes but I can overlook it. I don't think the sub passes should cost only a dollar less than the main one, tho

While nobody has said "it will never be available outside of arx purchase" it has been confirmed there currently no plans to change the monitization method.

I can take this quote as a sign of why this app is better than the other one, because so much of the other site is drama for drama's sake. Engagement and monitization. But here, people have thoughs and opinions. Sometime people even disagree respectfuly. Never there.

I think it would be cool if instead of developing multiplayer only monitization vectors big game studios made real games.

I love the game but hate the monitization, also since they made an expensive version of the game and then added more dlc that's not in it when it launched. One of them is at least jist music but yeah the dungeon thing just shouldn't exist or be free

EA, in my mind, has been circling the drain for years; having given up on having original ideas entirely and simply leaning on its yearly sportslop releases to drive revenue. My prediction is that it will continue to do that while pushing heavier monitization to pay its mountainous debt
