there was a whole bunch of different animal-head enemies in Zelda II, but only the Moblin really stuck around (although they're pigs now, not bulldogs).
You can say the Wosu became Wolfos, and Geru/Daira became Lizalfos, I guess.

Yes you have to do the quests to access phaenna. And i assume youll have to do phaenna's to get to the next zone.
I like it when the npc takes us to previous zones and helps flesh things out a bit. Would rly love a moblin in earthenshire or that gay elf boy we took there
