Been challenging myself to limit source when designing, which has helped me better evaluate when adding additional source actually adds value.

Would love to hear how others are balancing source limitation versus layering, especially in real-time engine workflows.

A little tweak to a CAT WaveTable setup from last week's Tech Audio Chat.

Organising oscillators / modulation in groups of four channels, moving through the table indexes on all fronts for variation.

Pretty excited about this collision system I put together! I love when games put a bunch of objects around the world that you can kick around and interact with (so fun to skate into props in Tony Hawk games)

I love #UnrealEngine. Again spend couple of hours try to package the new #Odium release.
I had “registered” some Metasounds for faster Load times during development… it prevented the build to work…
Still not done, but at least progress

The music i'm doing for Gilgamesh Drift is very phonk influenced but with a sort of mystical / cinematic vibe. Also lofi-beats-to-parkour-to type music in the exploration zones.

...and i'm doing a lot of dynamic sound effects stuff with UE5 metasounds! Stay tuned!

the way. The version of Metron you see in this game and our previous one lives entirely within a single enormous SynthComponent (which is already nearing deprecation, having been superseded by MetaSounds - but hey, our dev cycles have been...long!)
