You are not alone. I'm not proud of the assistance we receive, but without it Dad would drain what's left of his savings, and I'd be dead cause of medical debt. And I cannot imagine single parents with kids to feed!

God it sucks here. The US has 530,000 people going bankrupt a year due to medical debt and terrible health outcomes with the most expensive care. Why is he even allowed a platform?

spoiler alert: the plan is to gut funding and let lots of people die without care or be ground to dust by medical debt!!
republicans in congress have great ideas for healthcare! they just don’t think it would be useful to share those good ideas to grow support from the public or even their own elected reps!
COLLINS: Greene is saying Republicans aren't doing anything to address healthcare. Are you saying there is a Republican plan and you're just not talking about it?

MIKE JOHNSON: No. There's lot of discussion about it, but we don't relay on it on a conference call with hundreds of people listening in

Every other developed country has universal healthcare, and people don't go bankrupt w/ medical debt. Insurance companies are paying-off politicians so they can keep taking our money and refusing coverage. Time to demand that Congress adopt Medicare for All. (Now on Medicare; it's great.)

Health insurance costs jumped for workers & employers in 2025.

This will get worse if the GOP refuses to extend ACA subsidies.

Meanwhile, the seven largest health insurance companies made a combined $71B in profits in 2024.

Still not sure we need Medicare for All?

So I desperately need to not spend money because medical debt sucks, so I backed a few kick starters and upped my (small) mutual aid budget instead.

Because I am very skilled and talented at many things and spending mo ey I shouldn't is absolutely one of them.

I don’t know why this would cause people to do a national strike rather than forego insurance, forego preventative care, use the ER as a crutch, and just BK medical debt

Throughout my nearly 40-year career as a doctor, I’ve seen patient after patient struggle with the cost of healthcare.

As governor, I will fight to keep rural hospitals open, relive medical debt, expand access to affordable care, and stand up to any cuts to Medicaid coming from Washington.

Everything's like that, and thats not okay. I check IT work every now and then. Most are making little more than it did before covid, and it wasnt enough to survive off with college debt and medical back then.

She's running in a field of 15+ democrats with many of them having great credentials. Biss and Amiwala were tear gassed by ICE. Simmons erased millions of medical debt. Huynh has done charity work for years and was stopped by ICE at gun point yesterday while alerting neighbors about ICE's presence.

Completely unsustainable and ridiculous. America will collapse under the crush of medical debt while the rest of the world shakes its collective head.
