Good Friday morning, Bluesky family! The Corgi infrastructure team is sleeping off brekky, so Hoomum controls this morning's post. We are in our happy place -- the lake cottage enjoying the view & wildflowers. There are 8 ladyslippers in the front yard & scads of Northern Star flowers! 🥰🐕🐾💤

The ladyslippers are the highlight of the later spring walks. The lady I took over for is in a similar situation. She pushed it to far for a long time and can't manage the trails any more. I'm hoping someone who cares about these places can take over for me eventually.

Was it this particular orchid? (There are so many varieties of lady slipper orchids.) I will have to come and see that one day. I also want to go see the Gordon Lightfoot memorial. 😊
