Company put a stop on the check. Reissued it. I’m supposed to get it Saturday. I do have tracking this time. We will see. All the junkmail and everything else shows up. But the one thing I really needed goes missing! 😿

As a registered voter who chooses their vote based on issues that I want a sign that says "I vote, don't bother me." that must legally be obeyed. I've gotten so many texts, propaganda junkmail, and people leaving crap on my door despite a "No Soliciting" sign next to my door when I already voted.

I pretty much can tell from subject line and sender which ones I want to read, including some of the junkmail that maybe has sales or articles I actually want--

I don't think they really do that anymore. I tried "Return to Sender" for junkmail that has a return address and they just sent it back to me. Seems "Stop Send" isn't functional either.

yes this is horrid. People trapped like insects in a roach motel... also nearly every day I get junkmail offers to loan me money on my house, or on the basis of nothing, for like 50K--how many people fall into those traps too?

I'd probably print some plausible deniability DIY junkmail and leave it on top of the other mail, then act innocent and let - them - bring up the topic.

When you're unsubscribing from an email mailing list, in the 'reasons you are leaving us' list there should be the honest 'I entered a competition and didn't win' option...
