The ICRC Conferences, organized by IUPAP (C4), have been held biennially since 1947. They cover a wide range of topics, including cosmic ray physics and high-energy astrophysics. This year, the Pierre Auger Obs. is participating with 43 contributions.

国際理論物理学会議については、仁科芳雄自身がIUPAP復帰に関与したので拙著『励起』の最後の章でも少し触れているが、この会議の時に仁科芳雄の追悼行事が開かれたことについてはこの論文により詳しく書いてる。『励起』を書いた時点では詳しくは知らなかったのだが、日本側ではなくIUPAP側の提案で実現したのだった。
