I'm thinking we reinstate the Sac-Isleton line and extend it across to Rio Vista and thru to Fairfield.

Today I visited the Sacramento River delta towns of Walnut Creek and Isleton, which had Chinese and Japanese immigrant communities in the late 19th/early 20th centuries. And suffered the attendant discriminations, but left a cultural imprint.

Well you know, if you are in Old Sacramento and go over the old bridge and just follow the river you'll go through Clarksburg and Cortland and if you continue to follow the river you'll go past Isleton and then to Rio Vista.

I bet... it sounds gorgeous.. there was a lot of Alfalfa in Isleton area and rice... my dad went to Rio Vista High School by the way. Stockton was a wonderful place to grow up but there's no way I've ever live there now!

Yes, I know Woodland. My mother originally is from the Clarksburg, Courtland area, on Merit Island, on the Delta, my father, Isleton.. My grandmother lived in Isleton until the levee flood in the early '70s, and we would visit almost every weekend from Stockton, where I grew up...😊💞
