Something for the #hamradio folks. Started with an STM32F446RE Nucleo, built an analog interface board (display unused here) and wrote the code for a very good 1200-baud #packetradio KISS modem. Built back in 2017-18, resurrected, maybe going to do eye diagram on the display #nerdfun

ADSB-exchange uses a network of private receivers, which may not cover low over your house. I know ADSB-exchange has blindspots near my house, particularly for low-altitude aircraft

It did land at Pt Mugu NAS, so that's something for the Navy to answer (probably a private contractor). However, at no point did the ADSB appear to be turned-off, so either ATC wasn't watching or the private jet pilot wasn't on the right ATC frequency.

Beacon was on, ADSBexchange has the flight path. While the jet is privately-owned and had ADSB on, it DID land Point Mugu NAS, so the Navy has some questions to answer.

Overall, this pilot apparently wasn't in contact with ATC, or ATC did not inform the aircraft involved to avoid each other.

You might wait until Monday morning to do the Monday morning quarterbacking. PIC of the airliner had to avoid collision; descended 500', which might have been just slow enough.
