Ces initiatives, qui visent à partager les connaissances et à encourager la prévention, permettent aux migrants de décider du meilleur choix pour leur santé et de transmettre ces connaissances à leur entourage. Dans le cadre du projet « Migration et développement en Afrique du Nord », financé par le Royaume Uni, Département du développement International, l'OIM poursuit son action de sensibilisation promouvoir la sensibilisation en matière de santé le long de l'une des routes migratoires les plus complexes au monde, contribuant à la protection, à l'autonomisation et à la résilience des migrants. *** Through targeted health awareness sessions, IOM Tunisia supports migrants in vulnerable situations understanding how to prevent diseases, recognise early symptoms, and seek timely medical care. By sharing knowledge and encouraging prevention, these initiatives help migrants make informed decisions for their health and pass that knowledge on to others. As part of the North Africa Migration and Development project , funded by UK International Development, IOM continues to promote health awareness along one of the world’s most challenging migration routes, as a key contributor to protection, empowerment, and resilience.
