Better switch from adobe crap, instamat/armorpain/ucupaint are good options (instamat even works with decals more precise lmao, ucupaint is literally open book flexible)

with layers. Depending on the workflow you prefer you may also find more comfort with a separate tool for the texturing part of the process. InstaMAT is a nice free option and if you're looking for something a bit more premium Substance Painter is to go to. You can pick it up on Steam or (cont.)

I'm very much loving procedural workflows at the moment. Instamat has really sped up my VFX texture workflow and blender geometry nodes are really going to speed up my indie dev.

Canvaしか使ったことのない人が増えてるようで求人にもAdobe使える人の一文をよく見かけるようになったし。
逆にここの壁を乗り越えて来た時が一番ワクワクする展開かもしれん。
SubstanceもInstaMATあるし、キャラだったらクリスタでも塗れるようになったしね😙

Started this as a 3d print project, and it got set aside for..whatever reason...When I got asked to join in the early testing of InstaMAT I decided to use the model to test. Has taken me an age cos of my tremors, but calling it done. Great program, but reminded me just why I hate texturing so much 😂

Had too many cokes this afternoon so decided to do some late night gamedev.
Still playing around with materialize within Instamat with the idea of getting to "good enough".
This rockface material is made from randomly scattering the photo shown in the video. Pretty happy with this!

Been playing around again with using Instamat (similar to substance designer) to make "good enough" tiling textures from Photos I captured on holiday.
I'm thinking this might make some of my projects much easier to get done!
