Finally all wired up and ready to go (apart from needing to order a bunch of XLR adapters). So many cables involved I’m amazed it all works without some crackles & hums

Agree, that's not the first thing people think of. Have you seen the iConnectivity Audio 4C, BTW? It's a dual-host soundcard, which can connect to two USB-C hosts at once, sending/receiving in both directions. So you can have iPad and other OS (or two iPads) working together. Pretty sweet.

I have the iconnectivity MIDI+ which has an unbelievable wealth of connection options. So much so that, after 9 years, I still haven’t got it configured exactly right ;)

They’re all chained for audio but I also have two iConnectivity MIO XLs on each side of my studio so I can automate FX parameters via MIDI so they’re all chained to a MIDI out port and patched into my patchbay so I can pick them on a send or buss

For over 10yrs I have been an unpaid uncompensated early kickstarter backer & promoter of Iconnectivity. I still recommend live musicians & people needing STABLE and RELIABLE system redundancy &/or multipul platforms i.e. iOS / laptop / midi / Bluetooth/ usb/ apple / microshaft…….

iConnectivity mioXL is awesome. there is a smaller version if that is overkill for your needs. It is called the Mio XM. Honestly, it could have been fine for me for how I use it but it was a desktop unit and I have a thing for my 19-inch racks.
