It’s really good. I’m trying not to talk myself into keeping it, but I need to make space.
In my head canon, “The Blackhole” and “Event Horizon” happen in the same universe.
Decided this was to be home to the MPC Live III. It’s wired up to control the rack next to it as well.

I had a guy earlier this week that low balled me and i replied with a HIGHER price than I originally set. He accepted, paid, and left positive feedback. This must be karma.
Buyers on reverb who negotiate a price and the refuse to pay are fucking annoying.
New meets old: Akai MPC Live III and MPC Live II Retro.
I have Roland Juno-X…but honestly, Jura sounds better.
After having a play with the MPC Live III, I have trouble justifying keeping any of my groove boxes. I mean…what *cant* it do?
Something I’ve really come to dislike: videos that compare a 50 year old instrument to a modern clone. You’re going to have difficulty getting two of the originals to exactly match up. All you can really say is the clone does match your particular original. So it’s really useless content.
A guy on reverb who is from Tbilisi, Georgia gave me an offer but wants to send me direct wire transfer and is willing to pay me extra for the convenience.

Yeah, I’m gonna have to pass, dude.
Yep! Already on order. I just don’t have space for it
If your work for ICE, you’re human trash.
I’ve been slightly obsessed with reviving some of my very old EBM work. Some of those songs had really good basic structures I could do so much more with now. I don’t know how I’d do vocals for them, though.
Work has been crazy! New company is off to a good start!
Oh now that’s just crazy talk!
Damnit, Akai. When will there be a live III retro? (Because there is only one proper paint job for an MPC)
I used to love synthesizers. They used to sound like the future. Now it seems electronic musicians have lost all imagination and only want the past.
