I'm considering doing something a bit bonkers: a collector's edition annotated hardback of Jack of Thorns.
It's probably going to hit 500 pages, and I'm eager to go ham and do alternative dust jackets lolol I can't imagine the cost of postage 😭🤣

Yes, definitely! I was reading her stories last year in the lovely Virago Modern Classics hardback—although come to think of it, I don't think I've read all of them yet. The one that really haunts me (sorry) was 'Miss Mary Pask', very odd and strange and wonderful. I want to re-read it again, soon.

Very much enjoying Halcyon Years by Alastair Reynolds: pioneering cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin appears to have been revived, centuries after his premature death, aboard a colony ship/space habitat on its way to a new world, and has settled on making a living as a private detective. Can all be as it seems?
