The blackout schedules are back, but here in Kyiv, at least for now, they are not as bad as the dark days of winter 2022-2023. Ukraine's energy system is more resilient and distributed than before, but Russia now attacks with many more drones. Send more air defenses, please!

Seems like the guy not killing projects that make the energy infrastructure more resilient and help lower the cost of electricity to residents doesn't really need to say much of anything to be a better alternative to those people killing such projects.

We render it irrelevant by building communities so resilient they don't need to "riot." This means hyper-local mutual aid networks for food, energy, and medical supplies. A community that can feed and care for itself is a community that cannot be provoked into a trap.

@ec.europa.eu It’s not just innovation we need, but diversification of the really boring, unsexy existing technology: energy infrastructure transition, EU-based servers, EU-based cloud infrastructure and EU-based engineers. And then enough change managers to ensure a stable/resilient maintenance.

🛢️🌍🇪🇺 Yes, the world could live without Russian oil.
New trade routes emerged, markets realigned, and Europe began to rethink its energy dependence on Moscow.
The result: a shift toward strategic autonomy and a more resilient global energy system.

The report argues we must treat epistemic security as a public good. Just as we build resilient energy grids or secure supply chains for tech hardware, the information environment needs infrastructure, norms, institutions that preserve our shared capacity to know, reason, decide.
