Complex Care Housing connects people with the care and services they need to manage complex health challenges. Without this support, many face cycles of evictions, shelter stays and emergency room visits.

Every year on Dec. 6, we remember the women whose lives were stolen by violence and we recommit to building a future where every woman and girl is safe, valued and free. Remembrance must be matched with action because mourning without change is not enough.

On this day we take time to honour and remember the 14 women who were murdered on Dec 6th, 1989 at L'Ecole Polytechnique in Montreal, and we renew our commitment to ending gender-based violence.

Thanks to @jenniferwhiteside.bsky.social for joining me to discuss the agreement our government reached with HEABC & the FBA.

Now 5,000 workers will gain pensions and benefits while Gov’t continues to grow high quality and reliable care for seniors.

The Anti Racism and Data Committee is doing vital work collecting real data and addressing systemic inequalities.

While some governments may deny its existence, our government is committed to keeping the fight going against systemic racism.

Canadians need their governments focused on real projects, not a fantasy pipeline with no investors.

BC has billions of dollars in privately led projects that are going to create thousands of jobs and bring prosperity to Canada. We cannot put them at risk.

Protecting students is non-negotiable. Every child deserves a classroom where they are #safe, #respected & #welcomed, & we will fight for that every day.

Rustad’s handpicked candidates who are now in #OneBC continue to spread fear & division, putting vulnerable students at risk.

People across BC deserve an affordable place to call home. While the Conservatives want to reverse the progress we’ve made by putting real estate speculators first, we’re focused on making housing more accessible for families.

Had a productive meeting with the @canadianinnovators.org today on all things procurement, economic development and sovereignty.

Our government is committed to working with and prioritizing Canadian companies, to help continue to grow B.C.'s economy and employ B.C. workers.

Thank you to the Clean BC Review team Merran Smith and Dan Woynillowicz for the deep expertise and time, and to all the individuals and organizations who made submissions.

I look forward to working on these pragmatic recommendations, paths to reduced emissions, affordability and a strong economy.

As the 16 Days of Activism begins, we recommit to preventing violence, strengthening supports, and doing the work so every woman in our province feels safe.

Listened in on some great presentations from UBC this morning about all the great work being done to help launch B.C. into the future.

Whether it be taking the lead in quantum computing or being the top innovator on vaccine research, we are lucky to have the very best and brightest here in B.C.

This could threaten thousands of long-term renters and encourage bad faith evictions before next year’s FIFA World Cup.

Rents are down 10% partly because of these STR rules, but the BC Conservatives are trying to weaken and support repealing them entirely.

We won't let them.
