#Viking silver broad-band armring from Blackerne, D&G, SW Scotland.
Possibly a Southern Scandinavian 'prototype' version that was developed into the larger Hiberno-Scandinavian type seen in the Galloway Hoard.
Deposited c. AD 900, it was found with an amber bead in a (cairn) cist burial.

Twisted Viking armring made in solid bronze with a twined sterling silver thread. It ends in bear heads based on the unique find in Eketorp, Sweden.
Dated to the 900s, the bear heads are remarkable in the sense that nothing similar has been found.

I 1892 blev der ved Horne, nord for Varde, fundet to dragtspænder og en armring af guld. Alle fundene er dateret til vikingetiden og specielt de cirkulære spænder er noget af det fedeste der nogensinde er fundet.

The #Viking broadband silver armring from Blackerne (top ring, larger scale) compared to some of the broadband armrings from the Galloway Hoard, deposited only 6 miles to the west in Balmaghie.
Both deposited c. AD 900, Blackerne's was found with an amber bead and bones in a cist within a cairn.

Reinspringen ging immer noch nicht weil er davor generell Angst zu haben scheint. Also er dreht sich quasi ins Wasser rein und hält sich immer am Rand fest.
Dafür ist er nochmal sehr solide die 25m Bahn mit nur einem Armring geschwommen. Ausdauer üben.

Schwimmhalle. Kind will mit zwei Armringen starten. Alles cool, kein Druck. Kind sieht Schwimmlehrer „Mama, da ist Tobi. Los. Nur mit einem Armring.“ Alter Poser 😂 danach war er dann solide die ganze Zeit nur mit einem Armring unterwegs.
