I chose to run because I needed to stand up against anger and retreat of basic human rights. These rights transcend boundaries. What is happening in Gaza is heartbreaking and unnecessary. Violence against civilians must stop.

I just submitted my pledge to #VotePalestine. Canada used to stand for peace. So it is disheartening to see how many Canadian made arms have been exported to Israel and used against the Palestinian People. Make my words clear, this is a genocide and the Canadian government cannot be complicit.
