Sure I am missing a few but mix of both. (Though could definitely argue which was the key) Printing advanced enough for scientific papers to be a thing long enough to get a refocus on the scientific method, microscope were around but first bacteria was discovered in 1670s and caused a focus. etc.

That said, I’m happy to refocus on bigger and better things (college basketball).

I don’t think SCOTUS could’ve gotten him out of this completely. It was an issue that came up during that trial and Jack Smith had to refocus on just what was done in a non presidential capacity of which Trump would’ve still been guilty. Smith really should’ve been appointed a year earlier.
