Probably not. Nutella ( I checked) looks to have been available from 1964 onwards. Depends on their level of prescience.
Any poltergeists in the place?

The prescience of Crosseyed and Painless on the influx of information and not knowing what to trust. Also, a bop.

Kara and Atwood talk about her lifelong passion for the outdoors, how she decided to become a poet when she was just a teenager, and her reputation for having an eerie prescience about major world events.

Yes, it could happen again.

Foreseeing how it can be avoided is difficult, but then who's good at prescience? It's at least conceivable that a wave of revulsion washes these obstacles away, but I'm not holding my breath.

I'm more hopeful of democracy elsewhere.

"His transition into the Kwisatz Haderach (…kinda, we’ll get into that) basically makes him the “best Bene Gesserit ever” as well. This gives him full access to both his male and female lineages’ memories and makes his prescience god tier."

From memory, Ozemail was Malcolm Turnbull's $million-making startup with its sale that set him up long-term ... he had investor prescience that was squandered by joining the LNP; should have followed his initial instinct and stuck with Labor.

I'm reminded of the prescience of the movie In Like Flint (1967) in which it is revealed that part of the villains' plan is to replace the President with an actor and James Coburn looks at the camera, says, "An actor? As President!?" and shudders.

He realized suddenly that it was one thing to see the past occupying the present, but the true test of prescience was to see the past in the future. Things persisted in not being what they seemed.

"They will struggle, in other words,
out of a certain boredom: for they cannot
imagine living in a world without struggle"
Francis Fukuyama, The End of History and the Last Man

I don't buy the "prescience" here. It's cod psychology.

Currently watching Foyle’s War. Very good!
Season 2 episode 4 (War Games) casts Laurence Fox as a Nazi sympathiser in wartime Britain. Such a natural!
Filmed back in 2003, long before he became politically active on the far right.
I wonder what qualities the casting directors saw in him 😐?

Thank you for sharing! I posted this back in the summer, I think, when this poem was a selection for @poetsorg.bsky.social Poem-a-Day. My day job is as a chaplain doing bereavement support for a hospice—so her words resonated deeply. Little did I know what prescience of loss they would also contain.
